Why and how does Worcester Bosch Group offer accreditation to some installers?

Both us and Worcester want to provide homeowners with peace of mind because we know that upgrading your home heating system is a big cost so Worcester only invite engineers and companies that they deem reputable, quality conscious and representing value for money. All Worcester Accredited Installers must be registered to the relevant trade body most suited for the work carried out day to day. In our case, we are registered with Gas Safe and appear on the register as well our individual gas engineers. This enables peace of mind for you and your home.

Extended Guarantees

The standard Worcester product guarantee period is usually 5 years. As accredited installers, we can offer up to 12 years guarantee depending on the boiler model installed. For example with the recently released 8000 Lifestyle series, we can provide you with a 12 year parts and labour guarantee with Worcester. With typical boiler life spans being between 10-15 years, you can rest assured that your boiler is covered. You must remember to have it serviced by a Gas Safe registered engineer each year so you do not void the guarantee.

This is why most manufacturers of heating and hot water appliances such as boilers, solar thermal and heat pumps only supply through trade merchants, rather than directly to end users.
